I consider myself very lucky to have grown up in Saugeen Shores—a beautiful small beach town on the shores of Lake Huron. Along with my wife Leslie and our children, I have now called Cambridge home for over 20 years. I am very fortunate to split time in the Saugeen Shores area at our family cottage.

For the majority of my career, I have worked in Quality Assurance. Working in this field has provided me with strong analytical skills, which will be beneficial for working in the mortgage industry. I also studied Financial Planning to provide my clients with the best possible advice and solutions as we navigate the mortgage process.

Growing up in a small, tight-knit community taught me the value of giving back and serving others. Over the years, I have volunteered on all my kid’s sports teams: hockey, basketball, and lacrosse. I have volunteered with a non-profit, Kids and Dads, an organization which works to promote relationships with both parents and their children in two-home families.

My passion however is martial arts. I first started studying karate when I was 12 and earned my black belt in Shito-Ryu karate. Over the years, I have studied many different disciplines and have also helped instruct at local karate schools. However, when my youngest son recently took up boxing and asked if I wanted to train with him, I quickly shifted gears and took up the sport of boxing.
